The Old Caoling Tunnel ( 舊草嶺隧道 ) was once the railway between Fulong ( 福 隆 ) and Shicheng ( 石城 ). After closed for more than 20 years, it has been refurbished and transformed into a bike path. Caoling Historic Trail is the cultural path most representative of the Northeast Coast. Each year between October and December, the trail will be covered with silver grass; the grass waves rippling, gentle swaying tidbits, like a white hot wave slope, like a dream. Autumn is the best season to visit.
